I was born in Ireland into a Roman Catholic family, and grew up through ‘the troubles’ during the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. For over 30 years I have made a career as an Irish Folk / Ballad singer. I have performed throughout Ireland, England, Scotland, America and Canada. In the mid 80’s I left Ireland and moved to Canada where I continued my musical career.

My family upbringing in the Catholic faith gave me a belief that there was a God. Throughout my life I would turn to God only at times of hardship and despair. I always expected God to fix the problem and He always did. Not once did I ever say ‘thanks’.

During my life I have experienced the hand of Satan in many different situations, trying to break my spirit and body. Unknown to me, throughout these times the Lord had his caring hands around me. Then in 2003 I was brought to a place in body and spirit that I wished my life would end. During these days I had an encounter with God in a little church in Mahone Bay in Nova Scotia. I didn’t really understand at first, I only knew that God had drawn me close to Him.

After many battles with my human self fighting against change, at last in broken despair I cried out to God to save me and in an instant God reached out His grace-filled hands and lifted me up, changed me and drew me close. Over a short period of time God has removed my many burdens and healed my wounds, with love. God showed me His plan and desire for my Christ-filled life. It has led me back to Ireland and into a ministry where the gifts and talent that God has blessed me with can now be used for God’s glory and honour.

At present I am involved with Drop Inn Ministries. I manage one of their stores, that helps fund projects in 16 different countries throughout the world. The ministry is based on Matt 25: 35-40. Not only does this ministry help the needy in a practical way, but also brings the word of God to the lost. This ministry also helps people fulfil God’s plan and purpose for their lives. I have been blessed by this ministry. I have served in Albania with a mission team, leading worship at various churches, worked with street kids, gypsy camps, prison work, driven a truck with humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and participated in a conference in Burkina Faso, Africa in January 2007.

At present I am developing a music ministry for the glory of God. The vision is to bring the word and love of God to a hurting world.
